Dr. Joe Murphy
Dr. Murphy is a Pittsburgh, PA native, attended The University of Virginia for undergrad and graduated with a degree in Chemistry. He worked as an organic chemist for a short while before attending The University of Pittsburgh SOM, now work as an Internal Medicine resident physician at UPMC.
Dr. Murphy been coaching with TPC since the fall of 2019, and has worked with hundreds of students over that time both as a premed advisor and as an MCAT tutor.
Jacqueline Ihnat
Jacqueline is a medical student at Yale in New Haven, CT, where she enjoys running, baking, and hanging out with her turtle. She is from St. Louis, MO and majored in business management at the University of Missouri.
She also taught English in Madrid, Spain, for a year before starting medical school. Jaqueline tutors CARS and reviews personal statements/application essays for the TPC premed students
Dr. Sean Dooley
Dr. Dooley is originally from New York and graduated magna cum laude with a major in integrative neuroscience at Binghamton University before going to The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He worked for Kaplan Test Prep for multiple years as a top rated instructor before joining The Premed Consultants. He currently holds the roles of Head MCAT Tutor and co-authored the The Premed Consultants PowerBook along with Dr. Adam Nessim.
Dr. Dooley has been coaching with TPC since summer 2020 and enjoys helping students help prepare for the MCAT and achieve their potential.

Our coaches have years of experiences helping students get into medical school. We will work with you on every aspect of the application so that you show your best self to the admissions committees.
Students underestimate how difficult it can be to show yourself in the best light through writing, and some even make massive errors in the most crucial parts of their applications.

How do I get started?
Once you fill sign up for a plan you will be sent an onboarding form to learn more about you, your goals, and what you will need to excel in your medical school admissions process.. We will then pair you with a coach who will be best suited for you.
Where does the coaching take place
All of our coaching is conducted online. This allows you to be placed with top coaches from around the country. It also increases flexibility in regards to scheduling your sessions. Our coaches are proficient in working in an online environment and most students say they actually prefer the ease of access with online coaching.
Do I need a plan going in?
No you will spend the first session with your coach creating a comprehensive admissions plan that meets your needs. If you already have one than we will review it and adapt it where needed.

Our pass guarantee is that if your tutor stated that you are. ready to take the exam after completing your hours and you do not score above a 500 you will be entitled to either a 50% refund or another full tutoring package for free for the same number of hours you originally purchased.
