Dr. Reid Portnoy

Dr. Portnoy is graduate of Binghamton University majoring in Integrative Neuroscience and minoring in economics. He decided to matriculate into medical school and went to New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He matched into Diagnostic Radiology at Morristown Medical Center in New Jersey. In his free time he loves to go to the gym, play sports such as golf and basketball. He also likes to wind down by going for walks, cooking and watching TV.

Dr. Portnoy has worked with many students to help improve their study strategies in pre-med and medical school as well as specifically study for USMLE/COMLEX board examinations since my 4th year of medical school in 2020-2021. Dr. Sean Dooley

Dr. Dooley is originally from New York and graduated magna cum laude with a major in integrative neuroscience at Binghamton University before going to The University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He worked for Kaplan Test Prep for multiple years as a top rated instructor before joining The Premed Consultants.

He currently holds the roles of Head MCAT Tutor and co-authored the The Premed Consultants PowerBook along with Dr. Adam Nessim.Dr. Dooley has been coaching with TPC since summer 2020 and enjoys helping students help prepare for the MCAT and achieve their potential.

Once you fill sign up for a plan you will be sent an onboarding form to learn more about you, your goals, and what you will need to excel on your desired exam. You will choose which USMLE test you will be studying for, and we will pair you with a tutor who will be best suited for you.

Do I need a plan going in?

No you will spend the first session with your Tutor creating a comprehensive study plan that meets your needs. If you already have one than we will review it and adapt it where needed.
