College Admissions & BS/MD

College and BS/MD admissions for students who already know they want medicine

We specialize in high school students aiming at medicine. That includes families coming in for BS/MD, and families applying to college as premeds. Our packages include both BS/MD and regular college applications.

Who this is for

Two different paths

Our packages include both. We sometimes recommend applying to top regular colleges as well as BS/MD.

Strongly applying to BS/MD

The combined programs are the priority: list, essays, interviews. We still build a regular college list. Combined seats are few. Top colleges are how you stay in the cycle if BS/MD does not land.

Considering BS/MD

You are looking at combined programs and not sure yet how far to go. We help you decide which ones are worth a shot, and we still run a strong college application as a future premed.

What it covers

Everything we do through the cycle

BS/MD and regular college sit in the same package. We sometimes recommend top colleges alongside the combined programs.

Strategy and timeline

  • A written plan for junior year, senior year, and submit dates
  • Whether BS/MD belongs on the list, and which programs are realistic
  • How the regular college list and the BS/MD list work together
  • Parent and student roles so nobody is guessing who does what
  • A calendar for testing, essays, recs, and interviews

School list

  • BS/MD and BA/MD programs worth a real shot
  • A regular college list built for a future premed
  • Reach, target, and likely balance
  • Fit on academics, location, cost, and how premed-friendly the school is
  • When to add or cut a school as grades and testing come in
  • Help through Common App, Coalition, and school portals to submit

Essays

  • Brainstorming for the personal statement and the “why medicine” story
  • Common App / Coalition main essay, drafts through final
  • Supplements for regular colleges
  • BS/MD essays, including why this program and why this school
  • Activity descriptions that sound like the student, not a resume bot
  • Edits until the writing is ready to send

Courses, activities, and recs

  • Course selection that looks serious to college and later to med school
  • Help choosing a major if the student goes the regular college route
  • Which activities to keep, drop, or deepen
  • Leadership and clinical exposure that actually reads
  • Summer plans that help the file instead of filling a calendar
  • Who to ask for recommendations and what to give them

Interviews

  • How college interviews and BS/MD interviews differ
  • Mocks for both
  • The story in the room: why medicine, why this school, why this program
  • Feedback after each mock so the next one is tighter

Mentorship through submit

  • A named coach, plus access to the rest of the team
  • Check-ins so dates do not slip
  • Help when a school adds an essay or an interview on short notice
  • How to read results and decide on a college if BS/MD is still pending

MCAT, when the program needs it

  • Many BS/MD programs still set a minimum MCAT
  • Packages can include MCAT prep so that score does not sneak up later
  • A plan for when to sit the exam if the student is on a combined track
  • How that work fits next to the college and BS/MD applications

Packages start at $7,500. The cost depends on what year the student is in when we start.

FAQ

Questions families actually ask

We are only looking at BS/MD. Is this still the program?

Yes. The package includes both. We run the combined-program applications, and we still have the student apply to regular colleges. We sometimes recommend top colleges even when BS/MD is the main goal. Combined seats are few. The regular list is how you stay in the cycle.

Does this include MCAT?

It can. A lot of BS/MD programs still have a minimum MCAT. We can build that prep into the package so the student is not surprised later.

How does pricing work?

Packages start at $7,500. The cost depends on what year the student is in when we start. We give you the exact number on the call.

Who works with my student?

We match you with one of our expert coaches, including Dr. Adam Nessim, so the student gets the exact advising they need.

When should we start?

Junior year is the usual start if you want the list and activities in good shape. If applications are already open, we start on essays and the list you have.
